Dr. Moritz Horn, PhD

Dr. Moritz Horn studied Biochemistry at the University of Tübingen (Germany) and completed his PhD in Genetics from the University of Cologne (Germany).

Working as postdoctoral fellow in the group of Dr. Martin Denzel at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing in Cologne (Germany) Moritz became expert in forward genetic screens using cellular systems and led successful industry collaborations.

He developed the single amino acid resolution, forward genetic screening platform including the key bioinformatics pipelines that allow us to analyse and deconvolute the data.
Dr. Moritz Horn runs the Acus Laboratories and is responsible for JLP Health’s technology platform and the technology transfer to Angalbio.
